Halloween Party-Kindergarten Style!!

This year I signed up to be the “Head” of Eli’s class party for Halloween. I knew that anytime would be hard with my school load, but knew finals would be at Christmas time and that after Christmas nothing would be possible..lol. So, I began to plan, and plan, and plan. Have I ever mentioned that I have OCD? Well, let’s just say that for someone who is supposed to plan a party and then delegate to the other parents helping you should NOT have OCD. I had a major issue with delegating things out. I kept thinking, what if they don’t bring it, what if it’s not with my color scheme, what if it’s…..UGLY. Please, I do not need for you to tell me how ridiculous this is b/c trust me..I know. I just can’t help it. SmileAnyways, the party ended up being GREAT! All the kids had a blast!  We had the kids play the “Mummy” game with toilet paper and they were so funny. I wrapped up Mrs. Abby first to show them how and they all thought that was HILARIOUS. This is such a FUN age and Eli is having so much fun in school..not to mention getting smarter by the second! I  look forward to always being able to  be apart of my boy’s school parties and activities and I am sooo thankful we are able to let me do that!

DSC01533The food on the Cupcake stand is “Chocolate Covered GIANT marshmallows that I made…they were covered in Halloween sprinkles too!) And the white boxes are juice boxes that I wrapped in White Electrical Tape and then glued spooky eyes to them and they looked like little mummies!
