Your Great Name

Life is crazy and chaotic, but I would not have it any other way. School consumes my life pretty much these days, but that's ok because it will end...one day. My boys are growing like weeds and are becoming smarter by the day...they seriously amaze me beyond belief. I don't have the time tonight (and my eyelids will not stay open) to catch up on everything that I need to, but I will tell you that life is great. While my anxiety has been high and I am more behind then EVER before on my holiday shopping this year...life is GREAT. Our family has SOO much to be thankful for this year, and this past weekend Justin and I were able to go on a little weekend getaway (without the boys) with our sunday school class and we formed new bonds. Some of those bonds are stirring lots of feelings and ideas within my heart and there will be more on that to come soon! I hope and pray that all of you are lucky enough to be surrounded by family and friends during the upcoming holiday season...if not..let me know.. we will be your family :-)

I am posting the lyrics to a song that my Uncle Damon and I will be doing soon. He will play guitar and sing duet with me. The first time that I heard it I immediately thought of my uncle. Most of you who read this or are friends with me remember that back in the summer my Uncle Damon had a very sudden brain hemmorage that was life threatening and for a few weeks things were very tense and scary. It is so amazing to look at him now and the power of healing that happens when "His Great Name" is spoken and cried out too. From my precious baby boy, to my Uncle, to recently my Popa Oz, and even to me when I was a child. Healing happens daily and NONE of it is a coincidence. God's hands are involved in all of it...he is the reason our doctors and surgeons and nurses can do what they do....this song gives me chills and can relate to lots of situations. I hope you enjoy :-)

YOUR GREAT NAME
By: Natalie Grant

Lost are saved; find their way; at the sound of Your great name

All condemned; feel no shame, at the sound of Your great name

Every fear; has no place; at the sound of Your great name

The enemy; he has to leave; at the sound of Your great name

[Chorus:]

Jesus, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain for us, Son of God and Man

You are high and lifted up; and all the world will praise Your great name

[Verse 2:]

All the weak; find their strength; at the sound of Your great name

Hungry souls; receive grace; at the sound of Your great name

The fatherless; they find their rest; at the sound of Your great name

Sick are healed; and the dead are raised; at the sound of Your great name

[Chorus:]

Jesus, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain for us, Son of God and Man

You are high and lifted up; and all the world will praise Your great name

[Bridge:]

Redeemer, My Healer, Lord Almighty

My savior, Defender, You are My King

[Chorus:]

Jesus, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain for us, Son of God and Man

You are high and lifted up; and all the world will praise Your great name
